The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 7 a.m. for Bledsoe, Bradley, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie counties in Tennessee, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties in Georgia and DeKalb and Jackson counties in Alabama.
