Two face drug charges while out on bond after drug arrest

Two people out on bond from previous drug charges have been arrested again.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 287 in Stevenson, Alabama.

Methamphetamine and marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia, were found at the address, according to a news release.

Christina Lynn Vidal, 44, and Joshua Lamar Young, 28, were charged with possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.

The tampering charge came after the two attempted to destroy the drugs, according to authorities.

Both have been booked into the Jackson County Jail.
