Chattanooga Clarinet Choir opens season Tuesday - Oct. 28

The Chattanooga Clarinet Choir opens its 2014-15 season with a free concert Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale.

The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Ackerman Auditorium, 5061 Industrial Drive. Founded in 1999 by Jay Craven, the community ensemble of professional, amateur and student musicians is currently directed by Lok Kim, assistant professor and Chamber Orchestra director at Covenant College.

The season also includes concerts at Alexian Village on Dec. 16, UTC on Jan. 17 (part of the River City Clarinet Winter Festival), March 24 at Dalton First Baptist Church, April 9 at Covenant College, April 19 at a venue to be announced and May 15 at North River Civic Center.
