University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball coach Will Wade announced Monday the hiring of video coordinator Antonio Stabler.

Stabler, who at 6-foot-7 could be one of the tallest video coordinators in the nation, played for UTC assistant coach Wes Long at Queens College of Charlotte.

As a senior he averaged 20.1 points and seven rebounds a game and was named to the Daktronics all-region second team and the NABC Southeast Region first team for NCAA Division II. He was also a Conference Carolinas all-conference first-team selection and was named to the Southeast all-district first team.

The Mocs are still nursing minor injuries to center Justin Tuoyo and guard/forward Tre McLean. They both are expected to be ready with the Nov. 14 season opener against Hiwassee less than three weeks away.

TV games set

The Mocs' schedule fully rounded out Thursday with the announcement of the American Sports Network's television schedule.

The ASN is made up of television stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group and reaches almost 40 percent of all households in the United States with 167 stations in 77 markets. A full list of affiliates will be announced later, but the Mocs will have 10 games televised by various networks this season.

Back-to-back games against Conference USA opponents Middle Tennessee State and Alabama-Birmingham will be on ASN stations, followed by a Jan. 5 home game against preseason Southern Conference favorite Wofford at McKenzie Arena. The Mocs' home finale on Feb. 21 against East Tennessee State also will be on the network.

All of the Mocs' games will be available on the SoCon Digital Network. They also have one game on ESPNews (Nov. 16 at Wisconsin), one on Fox Sports 2 (Nov. 18 at Butler) and four on ESPN3.
