Several lane and road closures are planned around the city for the next several weeks.

The south lane westbound of the 5400 block of North Terrace, between Spring Creek and McBrien roads, will be closed starting Sept. 8 for approximately 60 days.

At the 700 block of Glenwood Drive, a crane will be positioned to lift materials for a Memorial Hospital contruction project, closing the northbound curb lane from Sept. 8-10. from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will occur again Sept. 13 and 14 with another lane closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a flagging operation in place on those days.

On Sunbeam Avenue, between Brookfield and Belvoir avenues, a sewer upgrade is scheduled to take place, which may restrict traffic. Currently, Brookfield Avenue is closed between Sunbeam and Brainerd Road, but is scheduled to reopen Sept. 23. Detours are posted on this route.
