Homeowner to receive keys to 1st Habitat home built in Villages at Alton Park

Chattanooga native LeShundria Nelson is returning to Alton Park as a first time homeowner thanks to Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Chattanooga Area and funding partner, Chattanooga's Department of Economic and Community Development.

Nelson is the owner of the first Habitat home built in the Villages at Alton Park. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga is planning to build additional homes in the Villages at Alton Park over the next several years.

Friends and family members of the newest Habitat homeowner, Habitat for Humanity staff, local elected officials and dignitaries will meet at noon on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 3331 Hughes Ave., Chattanooga, for a ceremony.
