Fiber arts demonstration by Karen Linduska.Illinois artist Karen Linduska will demonstrate her creative process from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St.
Linduska starts her work with a painted background, laying her foundation with acrylic paints, stamps, inks, pencils and markers. She then continues to highly detailed threadwork with sometimes 30 to 50 layers of different colored thread and stitches.
