Football, festivals and corn mazes - three sure signs fall has arrived.

The first three of several area corn mazes are opening Saturday, Sept. 20, offering seasonal fun on Saturdays and Sundays through Nov 2. From high-tech smartphone games for adults exploring the twisting turns through a corn maze to old-fashioned hayrides, each offers a bumper crop of activities for the whole family.

Aw, shucks! It's just plain fun.
