Emergency personnel remove the body of a shooting victim from a Ringgold home.Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk confirms a woman was shot and killed by another female in a home at 227 Smoketree Circle in Ringgold, Ga., around noon Friday.
The homeowner is a male and the woman who fired the shot is his ex-girlfriend, Sisk said.
The dead woman's relationship to any of the others is unknown at this time.
Sisk said the shooter said she fired the pistol after hearing strange sounds and encountering the victim in the hallway.
