The youth movement is making an impact for Georgia after three quarters of play against Troy.

Georgia freshman running back rushed Sony Michel for 155 yards on 10 carries and scored three touchdowns as the Bulldogs jumped out to a 52-0 lead after three quarters in Athens, Ga.

Troy has some early success moving the ball through the air, but the Bulldogs took advantage of turnovers and their punishing running game to take control of the game.

UGA junior Todd Gurley had 48-yard run early in the first quarter and had 73 rushing yards before turning the duties over to Michel, who had touchdown runs of 6, 8 and 18 yards in the first half.

Another Bulldogs freshman, Isaiah McKenzie, got in on the action with a 52-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter

Bulldogs quarterback Hutson Mason threw a 9 yard touchdown pass to Kenneth Towns, and was 7-of-10 passing for 87 yards before heading to the bench to give backup QB Brice Ramsey a chance to get some playing time.

The sophomore quarterback had success as well, leading the Bulldogs on a scoring drive to end the half that culminated in Ramsey finding Michael Bennett for a 6-yard touchdown pass. Ramsey was 3-of-6 for 64 yards on the drive to end the half.

In the second half, Mason returned to lead another UGA scoring drive, connecting with Bennett for a 10-yard touchdown strike, and the Bulldogs defense shut down the Trojans offense.
