Former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga tight end Faysal Shafaat is still on the CBS reality show "Big Brother," but he also appears to be auditioning for "The Bachelor."

Shafaat has become increasingly fixated on love rather than loot in his pursuit of fellow houseguest Haleigh Broucher.

"Big Brother" follows a group of people living in a house under constant surveillance with someone being voted out each week.

"I want you to be my girl when we get out of here. I want to spoil you," Shafaat told Broucher. ".. I just want to spend all day with just you. I think you'll fall in love with me."

It's unclear, however, if those feelings are reciprocated. Broucher doesn't want her relationship with Shafaat to be too obvious in fear that they will be nominated for eviction together.

"I think Fessie is very attractive, he's funny, athletic, he's tall, dark, handsome, however right now we need to lay low because if anyone finds out we are together we are number one targets," Broucher said in a diary room session.

Not only is Shafaat's relationship status uncertain, so is the duration of his time left in the house. Shafaat lost another ally on Thursday as Angie "Rockstar" Lantry was voted out 5-1.

The final week of the show's hacker twist messed up the plans of Broucher, who was the Head of Household. Kaycee Clark, who is sided against Shafaat and Broucher, won the hacker competition, took herself off the nomination block and put Lantry in her place. She also canceled Shafaat's vote on Thursday.

Shafaat, Broucher and Lantry all had the chance to compete in the Power and Veto competition, which could have swung things back in their favor, but could not pick up the win, sealing Lantry's fate.

It's possible that of the nine houseguests remaining, up to six may target Shafaat next week if they win Head of Household, making it an ideal time for Shafaat to pull off his first HOH victory. The slip and slide endurance competition began as Thursday's show ended and Shafaat appeared well cut out for it. Find out how he did when "Big Brother" airs next on Sunday at 8 p.m.
