Friday is Good Friday and that means most people will be off ahead of Easter weekend.

City and municipal offices, schools and financial institutions will be closed.

In honor of the holiday, the Chattanooga Parking Authority is offering free parking downtown Friday. (But remember: parking in an unlawful area or manner - bus or loading zones, yellow curb, no parking, handicap space, Fort Wood area, etc. - is enforceable at all times, according to a news release.
