Waupaca Foundry, a Hitachi Metals company, was honored with the 2014 Supplier Recognition Award by Linamar Corporation. Waupaca Foundry was recognized as the top supplier in the castings commodity category for achieving excellence in the areas of quality, delivery, service, and support.

Waupaca Foundry is the largest supplier of gray iron and ductile iron castings in the world.

Linamar, a leading global precision machining supplier of highly engineered automotive, off-highway and industrial products, recognized Waupaca Foundry and other top suppliers at an awards ceremony on May 15 at Linamar headquarters in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

Some of the parts are made at Waupaca's plant in Etowah, Tenn.
