Carol Berz represents Chattanooga City Council District 6, which includes Brainerd, Eastgate, Sunnyside and Tyner. Voters first elected Berz in 2008 in a special election. She also serves as the chief executive officer of Private Dispute Resolution Services, LLC. Berz studied liberal arts at Emory University and human service administration at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has a master's degree in social policy from the University of Tennessee, earned a law degree from the Nashville School of Law, and has a doctorate in social policy from the University of Tennessee.
