The singer-songwriter who documented a concert on his 2012 album "Live in Chattanooga" will again be live in the Scenic City on Saturday night, Jan. 26.

Corey Smith stops in The Signal on his Great Wide Underground tour in support of his new album of the same name. Fans at The Signal will be among the first to hear him sing his new single, ""Honky Tonkin' in My Blood."

Smith describes himself as a "fan-made man." He has has sold over a million concert tickets, 1.5 million digital singles and more than 220,000 albums.

He has released 10 albums and wrote every word on each himself, self-producing nine of the 10.

The guy whose first career job was a geography/history teacher at North Gwinnett High School now regularly sells out concerts. Fans sing along to favorites such as the coming-of-age anthem "Twenty-One," the nostalgic "If I Could Do It Again" and the group hug "I Love Everyone."

Opening for him will be Nashville artist Chris Bandi, who has opened for The Marshall Tucker Band and LoCash.
