A Jennythreads trunk show, featuring new work by Asheville, N.C., artist Jen Swearington, is set for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13-14, at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St. Since its founding in 2003, Jennythreads Inc. has produced fine handmade and organic silk and bamboo apparel and accessories that are carried in galleries and boutiques throughout the United States. Each piece of fabric is hand-dyed and/or hand-printed by the artist with imagery from her sketchbook pages and original hand-cut stencils.
