Painting by James ConnerArtist James Conner, right, will offer a demonstration of acrylic painting from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St.
In addition to creating fine art, his experience includes working as a graphic artist and illustrator for the U.S. Army during two tours in Vietnam and Europe and as a sketch artist with the Detroit Police Department.
