'Life, Love and Laughter' debuts - May 16-17

A Grammy Award-winning composer and lyricist from Signal Mountain will offer a cabaret of love songs for his next production.

"Life, Love and Laughter at the Full Moon Cafe" features book, music and lyrics by Michael Huseman, who is an organist, pianist and resident composer at Signal Crest United Methodist Church and member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and the National Association of Popular Music.

Huseman has written music and lyrics in a variety of musical styles, including several New York City cabaret shows, and musicals for all ages, including "Esther: Elevated," "The Pirates of the Cafeteria," "A Whale of a Tale: The Story of Jonah" and "The Christmas That Came Too Soon."

He has a piano studio at the Mountain Arts Arts Community Center, where "Life, Love and Laughter" will be staged Friday and Saturday, May 16-17.

The production features Jessica Brinkley, Andrew Chauncey, Brad Cline, Jeff Hill, Beth McClary and Kaytlyn Reese.
