Asia Buffet menu boasts hundreds of ever-changing items

Asia Buffet encourages guests to savor the flavors of the restaurant's recipes, which are all prepared with housemade sauces.

"We have about 300 items here on the buffet, but all the dishes have a different flavor," says Asia Buffet general manager Grant Lee. "We recommend that people don't put too much on one plate and separate the different dishes so they can taste each.

The diversity of cuisine at Asia Buffet includes traditional Chinese buffet items like kung pao chicken and salt and pepper shrimp. There is also a selection of vegetarian recipes such as mixed vegetables and a tofu stir-fry.

The busy buffet continues to add new dishes for customers to enjoy. On the dinner buffet, popular dishes are the whole steamed flounder, Sojo crab and fresh jalapeno chicken. Asia Buffet has always offered shrimp cocktail, but now on the same buffet guests can try raw oysters every night.

"If guests have a special flavor they like, something special that is not on the bar, they can tell us and the chefs can try to make something for them," Lee says. "Our chef has 25 years of experience."

The restaurant's recipes are created by owner and chef Michael Lin, whose son Aaron Lin is a sushi chef with 10 years of experience preparing delicious fresh fish delicacies. Asia Buffet recently extended its sushi buffet, which is now staffed by two sushi chefs at dinner preparing both rolled favorites and nigiri sushi.

"We have a lot of different kinds of sushi," Lee says. "Almost every week our sushi chef creates something new. This kind of big sushi bar you can't find even at a Japanese sushi restaurant."

Asia Buffet's hibachi station is where diners can combine their favorite meat and vegetables with noodles, rice, egg and other ingredients to make a fresh and delicious meal. During the holidays, the buffet features a carving station with holiday favorites like ham.

Lee says guests can enjoy fresh recipes 364 days of the year. The only day of the year that Asia Buffet is closed is Thanksgiving Day, but the buffet is open and welcomes guests to dine in on Christmas Day.

Asia Buffet is a popular destinati on for friends and family, but the restaurant can also support larger groups in the private dining room for special events this holiday season. The banquet room can seat up to 120 guests and is conveniently close to the sushi buffet and only a few steps from the dinner buffet.
