Sing for the King celebrates third anniversary

Gospel duo Sing for the King will present its third anniversary singing Saturday at Heritage Point Park, 1275 Cross Plains Trail, in Dalton, Ga.

Music is scheduled from noon to 10 p.m. by several groups. Sing for the King will be releasing a new album containing all original songs by lead singer Randall Oliver, who is joined in the group by his wife, Christina.

According to the duo's MySpace page, Sing for the King won multiple awards in the 2009 Georgia Gospel and Country Music Association Awards: Songwriter of the Year, Duo of the Year, CD of the Year, Instrumentalist of the Year and Most Promising Entertainer.

Catered food will be available Saturday. The event also includes door prizes, games, inflatables for children, silent auction and cake walks.

Concerts take place rain or shine under a covered pavilion. Admission is free.
