Antiques collectors wanting first peek at the collections to be exhibited in the 37th Houston Museum Antiques Show and Sale should plan to attend the preview party Thursday. The event starts at 7 p.m. in Grand Central Station of the Chattanooga Choo Choo, 1400 Market St.
The annual antiques show is one of the museum's biggest fundraisers. This year's show is drawing more than 20 dealers from across the nation, said Amy Frierson, Houston executive director.
The museum is marking its 50th anniversary this year.
Tickets to the preview party are $85, which includes admission all three days of the antiques show, Feb. 25-27. Reservations are required for the preview party; call 267-7176.
