Hundreds of car, truck and motorcycle collectors are expected to roll into town Saturday, April 6, for the Chattanooga Cruise-In.

This "laid-back car show," first held in September 2011, is hosted by local businesses Coker Tire Co., the world's largest supplier of collector tires and wheels, and Honest Charley Speed Shop, a restoration garage.

The cruise-in will be on the streets surrounding Coker Tire headquarters, 1317 Chestnut St. Most of the surrounding streets will be blocked off to provide adequate space. The entrance will be at the intersection of Main and Chestnut.

The most recent cruise-in, in September 2012, drew 800 vehicles and more than 2,000 people from six states.

All of the Coker Tire properties, including the museum, will be open for tours. Door prizes, including a free set of tires, will be awarded.

Hours are 2-8 p.m., but participants are welcome to come and go as they please.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Live entertainment will be provided by The Other Guys.

Several food vendors will have concessions available.
