Payne training on Orion aircraft
Emily K. Payne is currently assigned to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla., for training on the P3 Orion aircraft and its associated weapons systems.
Payne is the daughter of Paul and Brenda Payne of Hixson and a 2007 graduate of Hixson High School.
She is a graduate of Aircraft Machinist Mate School, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., and Naval Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Ill.
Upon completion of the training, she will report to the Naval Unit, Misawa Air Force Base, Japan.
