The City Council is scheduled to vote tonight during its regularly scheduled business meeting on the 2011-2012 fiscal year budget.

The council approved the budget last week on first reading. It will go through its second and final reading tonight.

About $37 million of the budget goes to infrastructure and city improvement projects. Another $20 million of the capital budget comes from self-sustaining funds such as sewer and water quality fees.
