RINGGOLD, Ga. - U.S. Rep. Tom Graves, R-Georgia, said today that next year's Congress easily can change the terms of the recent debt deal, which is why he voted against the plan.

Speaking to a group of 150, mostly supportive Northwest Georgians this afternoon, Graves reiterated his stance that a constitutional amendment to balance the federal budget is the only way to enact lasting changes to federal spending.

Graves also fielded questions about Medicare, Afghanistan, the No Child Left Behind Act and a slew of other topics.
