Red Bank man, woman arrested in three burglaries

A man and a woman, both of Red Bank, have been arrested in connection with three burglaries after more than $20,000 in stolen goods were found at their home.

Scott M. Cummings, 34, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of theft over $1,000, six counts of possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and one count of possession of a controlled substance for resale, records show.

Tania C. Hall, 37, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of theft over $1,000 and one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance for resale, records show.

They are being held at the Hamilton County Jail, Cummings on $182,000 bond and Hall on a $13,500, according to a release from Red Bank Police Chief Tim Christol.

The two were arrested after Red Bank police officers confiscated more than $20,000 worth of property at the two-bedroom apartment where they were staying, Christol said.

The property was taken during three burglaries in Red Bank, he said, and included electronics, jewelry, sports memorabilia, firearms, drugs and car parts.
