HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - A 3-year-old boy is in serious condition after authorities say he accidentally shot himself in the face with a relative's gun.
Huntsville police spokesman Harry Hobbs said the child found the pistol under his uncle's pillow. He was rushed to Huntsville Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The boy was not identified.
It was not clear whether anyone at the home will be charged in the incident.
