Firehouse Subs donates $17,000 to Cleveland Fire Department

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is giving the Cleveland Fire Department with $17,000 worth of equipment.

The confined-space rescue equipment will be handed over at the Cleveland Firehouse Subs location Thursday, according to a news release.

Since its founding in 2005, the foundation has donated more than $95,000 to public safety agencies in Tennessee, the release stated. It provides funding, equipment and educational opportunities to aid first responders, the release states.

"We are truly serving subs and saving lives," Firehouse Subs franchisee Tom Davidson said in the release.
