The Atlanta Braves made several roster moves today, according to release from the club.
The Braves optioned Cory Gearrin, the former Rhea County High School star, to their AAA-affliate in Gwinnett.
Along with Gearrin, right-handed pitchers Stephen Marek and Anthony Varvaro were optioned to Gwinnett (AAA). Five other players - left-hander Yohan Flande, catcher Wilkin Castillo, infielder Shawn Bowman and outfielders Brent Clevlen and Jose Constanza - were re-assigned to minor league camp.
