Chattanooga police are trying to track down four men they say robbed a Comfort Suites on Williams Street at gunpoint in August.

Police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig said an unidentified man entered the hotel at 2431 Williams St. around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 24, and started chatting with the clerk.

The man then jumped over the counter, pulled out a handgun, and held it to the clerk's back while demanding money.

After the clerk relented, the man fled the scene, Hartwig said.
