Lake Resort Drive between Highway 153 and Lake Resort Terrace will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today for emergency road repairs. Detours will be posted using Hamill Road and Gann Store Road.
Fritz Brodgdon, engineering manager in the Chattanooga Public Works Department, said two slopes at the roadside have shifted, which affected the road surface. A geotechnical and engineering investigation is under way.
