Man wanted for Aug. 6 robbery arrested by Chattanooga police

A man wanted for Tuesday's armed robbery of Maravillas Store, 2110 Main St., was arrested Friday by Chattanooga police.

According to police reports, two men entered Maravillas Store on Aug. 6 around 8:30 p.m. Police reports state that the clerk at the store said one of the men had a wrap around his hand, revealing, he believed, a gun.

The two men demanded the clerk turn over all money in the store, and they successfully took all of the paper currency and fled.

On Wednesday, Chattanooga police say the clerk whom the two men robbed positively identified Jackie Reeves, 21, as the unmasked suspect.

Reeves was arrested Friday, and was booked at Hamilton County Jail. He faces aggravated robbery charges.

No information on the second suspect was available Friday night.
