Homeowner holds three at gunpoint after burglars return for more

A homeowner in Crossville, Ala., held three people at gunpoint until authorities arrived after a break-in.

The owner's home on County Road 24 was broken into on July 7, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office.

While the owner was cleaning up the mess the next day, he heard voices outside and found three offenders trying to break into his camper beside the house, the release states.

He called authorities and held the three at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived.

24-year-old Brittany Necole Seay, 33-year-old Christopher Allen Kuykendall, and 40-year-old Kenneth Seay were arrested and charged with burglary.

All of the items reported as missing were found and returned, the release stated.
