Alabama: Meth, Clonazepam, firearms confiscated on Highway 35 in Section

Members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office confiscated about three ounces of methamphetamine ICE, Clonazepam, a shotgun and a rifle while executing a today search warrant on Highway 35 in Section, Ala.

The search warrant was a result of a traffic stop the night before on County Road 42 at the Wildlife Management Area in Hollywood that resulted in law enforcement officers finding a small amount of meth. Alabama Game and Fish assisted in the stop, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The residence searched was that of Christopher Lance Burks, 33, of Section, one of the individuals in the vehicle during the stop. Burks was charged with trafficking in meth, possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hannah Marie Greczkowski, 33, of Scottsboro, was also in the vehicle, and was charged with possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as second degree promotion of prison contraband after meth was located on her person following her booking,

Charity Dawn Hester, 32, of Section, was at Burks' residence when the search warrant was executed, and was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of controlled substances.

Greczkowski was released on a $15,500 bond. Burks' and Hester's bonds had not yet been set.
