Three Chattanooga companies and a nonprofit received small business awards from the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce today.

Office Furniture Warehouse, Southtree and Chattanooga Allergy Clinic won awards, while the Trust for Public Land was named nonprofit of the year.

"Although today is the Chamber's most visible celebration of our local small business owners, they are a top priority for the Chamber every single day," said Ron Harr, chief executive of the business group, to more than 1,000 people at the Chattanooga Convention Center. More than 200 entities had exhibits at the event.

To qualify for an award, companies must have owned and operated a business in the Chattanooga area for a minimum of three years and displayed exemplary success within their industry. In addition, they must have shown a high level of community involvement and corporate citizenship, according to the Chamber.
