Chattanooga police identify dead body found in river east of Chickamauga Dam

A local fisherman discovered a man's body floating in the Tennessee River early this morning near mile marker 474, east of the Chickamauga Dam.

Police pulled the man from the river around 1:50 a.m. He was identified as Torrence Sivels, 39.

Investigators said foul play is not suspected in Sivel's death at this time.
