Would you eat this? Knoxville decorator creates cakes with 'shock value'

Sarah Ono Jones discovered her love of sculpting as a teenager.

But that passion was put on the back burner after she left Sonoma County, Calif., and moved to Rockwood, Tenn., for her senior year of high school.

After graduation in 1997 she attended Santa Rosa Junior College, served as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Army, fell in love, got married and became a mother.

Fast-forward 10 years to 2007.

That's when a simple Mother's Day gift from husband Julian Jones rekindled her artistic interest.

"My husband bought me a gift to attend a cake decorating class at Sugarbakers. I was really excited because, with so many kids (the couple have four children), I could do birthday cakes and stuff like that," she said.
