Dalton police are searching for a man and a woman who stole four iPhones from Walmart last week.

The two suspects were captured on video walking to the electronic department and using a spring-loaded punch device to shatter the glass of the phone display, said police spokesman Bruce Frazier.

Once the glass was broken, they took four iPhones, valued at $599 each, he said. After leaving the store, they drove off in a small blue compact car that looked like a Dodge Neon, he said.

Investigators believe the license plate was from the New England area.

The first suspect is described as a black male with facial hair, who wore a black jacket and a black baseball cap, Frazier said. The second suspect is a black female with short dark hair and possible blond highlights, he said.

Anyone with information on the identity of these two suspects or this incident is asked to contact Detective Jason Bishop at 706-278-9085, ext. 214.
