A 20-year-old Ooltewah man has been charged in the shooting death Wednesday night of a 19-year-old man.

Nathan B. Lalone faces a charge of first-degree murder and attempted murder after he reportedly lured Christian Sosa to a parking lot near a lit tennis court in the 4500 block of Bill Jones Road and opened fire, according to arrest reports.

Sosa's girlfriend, 20-year-old Meghan Bennett, also was shot but the injuries were not life threatening, police said.

As of Thursday night, no bond had been set for Lalone, who was in Hamilton County Jail.
