Task force wants to strengthen Tennessee law to prosecute gang members

Members of a gang task force said today they want to amend Tennessee law to make it easier to convict gang members.

At a news conference, Assistant Hamilton County District Attorney Boyd Patterson, who heads the task force, said the members want to prosecute gang members under racketeering charges, which is not possible with the current law.
