The last time Ronnie Sisk saw her only child, Justin Click, was Monday when the 18-year-old left to work at his job filling boxes at the Aeroflex USA tubing insulation plant in Sweetwater, Tenn.
Click was looking forward to swimming afterward in the Cherokee National Forest with his cousin by marriage, Stephen.
Sisk became worried that something was wrong when Justin didn't come home. On Tuesday afternoon she made a post on her Facebook page pleading for people to be on the lookout and to say a prayer that Click came home safely.
But her worst fears were confirmed Wednesday. Click's body, with multiple gunshot wounds, was found about 11 a.m. Tuesday off a gravel road in the Bald River Falls area of the Cherokee National Forest.
"I never seen or heard from him again," Sisk said Wednesday afternoon. "I don't know any details of what happened. All I know is my baby's dead. My child is dead."
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday brought first-degree murder charges in Monroe County against Click's cousin, Stephen Labron Chrisman Jr., 31, of Calhoun, Tenn., and Charles Allen Kile, 51, of Vonore.
The three men were in a secluded area of the park swimming and drinking when Click was shot, according to the TBI.
Kile was arraigned and booked into the Monroe County Jail on a $250,000 bond. Chrisman was to be arraigned today, according to reports.
Click graduated in 2011 from Sweetwater High School. He was living in Sweetwater with his stepfather, his mother said.
"Justin trusted everybody. He adored [his cousin] Stephen," Sisk said. "He was so good to everyone. He wouldn't hurt no one. He always had a smile on his face."
