Practice what you preach

To last Thursday's poll question, "Should students with disabilities have equal access to sports?" Fifty-two percent of your respondents said "no." Being somewhat familiar with the religious persuasions of most people in this area, I expect that most of those voting "no" call themselves Christian. I'm reminded here of Gandhi's quote, "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."

What has Clinton done for country?

Just wanted to give my perspective on the congressional hearings with Hillary Clinton. It was a total love fest for the Democrats. This woman has not accomplished one thing for the U.S. Yes, she is accomplished in the hula and looks pristine in the latest African fashion, but Arab Spring is a disaster. North Korea is marching right along with their missiles. Russia is retreating back to full fledge dictator style communism. China is still lending us 40 cents of every dollar we spend. Egypt no longer wants peace with Israel -- so we send Egypt jets and tanks.

Furthermore, the South is addicted to low-cost electricity provided by coal -- but isn't Washington addicted to other people's money? How does anyone expect millions of Americans without employment to pay for green energy? And Obamacare? And far-reaching regulations on everything from cow manure to snail darters. I expect gasoline to be outlawed any day like 32-ounce Cokes in New York City.

Thanks to Al Gore, we can get another perspective on Sharia law, Muslims, and their love, mercy and tolerance of others. Guess that's what Joe Biden laughs about all the time -- he knew something we didn't. Wonder if he uses vulgar language around his grandchildren. He seems to use it everywhere else. What a gobbledygook cast of characters we have controlling this nation.
