Lady Vols report: Tennessee finishes its three-game run of home dates to open the season after a 97-49 win against Presbyterian last Sunday and a 73-46 win against UNC Asheville on Wednesday. Shared scoring and solid defense were the hallmarks of both victories, and Lady Volunteers coach Holly Warlick would no doubt like to see that and more today before the schedule steps up in intensity.

Rattlers report: The Rattlers shot 9-for-46 (19.6 percent) from the field in their opening 62-31 loss to Jacksonville State, but they bumped that up to 21-for-58 (46.7) in a 64-53 loss to North Florida, when Moye had 24 points - she was 6-for-12 from 3-point range - and Royal scored 11.

Key matchup: This is only the second meeting between the programs, with the first an NCAA tournament first-round matchup won 96-59 by the Lady Vols on March 16, 1995. There's a wide gulf between these teams, and probably not much the Rattlers can do to narrow it today, save avoid mistakes and keep the tempo reasonable. If the Lady Vols are at their best, they'll roll before heading to the Bahamas for the Thanksgiving weekend Junkanoo Jam.
