Thursday league meet at Camp Jordan (2-mile)

ATHENS, Tenn. — McCallie is not a member of District 5-AAA, but it is 2-0 against football teams that are.

Storyline: Webb lost last week to Maryville, 28-7, and Baylor rolled in its opener, 51-6 over Howard. If Baylor quarterback Nick Tiano is as sharp as he was last week -- 5-of-8 (with three drops) for 155 yards and four TDs -- the Red Raiders will be tough to handle.

Storyline: Class A state finalists a year ago, the Pirates are looking for their sixth season with 10 or more wins in the last seven years.

There will still be an arms race in District 5-AAA entering the 2014 football season. But the league's top four teams will be introducing new arms.
