Legendary Baylor golf coach Henry 'King' Oehmig dies

Henry "King" Oehmig, 63, of Lookout Mountain died of a heart attack while fishing Saturday night.

Oehmig was a legendary golf coach at Baylor School for twelve seasons and served Episcopal churches in Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi for more than 40 years.

His Baylor School golf teams combined to win 21 state championships - 12 straight girls titles - and his golfers earned individual medalist honors 14 times.

Oehmig graduated from Baylor in 1969, from the University of Virginia in 1973 and later earned a doctorate of ministry from the University of the South.
