Faye Bentley

Nina Faye Goza Bentley, of Chattanooga, passed from this world on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012. She was 81 years old.She was born in DeKalb County, Ala., and was a 1949 graduate of Sylvania High School. Faye was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She was the beloved manager for the past 20 years at Pinewood Village Apartments. Faye was a member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Fort Payne, Ala.She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Rose Lee Goza; and a brother, Ted Goza.Faye is survived by her loving husband of 62 years A.R. Bentley; children, Ricky (wife, Carol) Bentley and Jan Brotherton; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (husband, Harold) Stancil; two nieces and two nephews.The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Parkridge Hospital for the care and love given to Mrs. Bentley.The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7 and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the North Chapel.Services for Faye will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel with Rev.
