Lynn Rhea

Lynn Rhea, 82, lifelong resident of Red Bank, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.He was a lifetime member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Lynn retired after 41 years with DuPont and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.Survivors are his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Allison Rhea; daughter, Linda (Billy) Teague; son, Mitchell A. Rhea; grandchildren, Carol (Chris) Pyke, Daniel (Nikki) Roberts, Stephen (Misty) Roberts and David (Sam) Roberts; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. today Aug. 20, at Red Bank Baptist Church with Bill Harvey and Dr. Fred Steelman officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full Military Honors.Visitation is 9:30-10:30 a.m. today at Red Bank Baptist Church.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Orphanage Emmanuel c/o Red Bank Baptist Church.Special thanks to the staff of Soddy Daisy Healthcare for their excellent care.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.Arrangements by Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
