Beverly Yoder

Beverly Ann Stanford Yoder, 66, of Chattanooga, died peacefully at home after a battle with cancer Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, surrounded by family and close friends.As a young woman, she pursued her dreams as a talented dancer and grew into a role of a loving homemaker. Beverly was a passionate, generous person who brought those qualities into every profession and relationship in her lifetime. She can be best remembered enjoying her time with loved ones from her scenic back porch. She co-owned Kaliedoscope Salon with her good friend, Brooke Wardlaw. A woman of faith, Beverly had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over 30 years. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, Nona and friend.She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Elizabeth Stanford.Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Yoder; son and his fiance, Tony Yoder and Kristie Duncan; nephew and his wife, David and Kristin Stanford; brother and his wife, Richard and Joan Stanford; brother, Roger Stanford; grandchildren, Preslee Yoder, Keelon Yoder and Liam Yoder; nieces and nephews, Aria Stanford, Vincent Stanford, Dominic Stanford, Michael Stanford and Ric and Heather Tomkins.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Trinity Luthern Church, 5001 Hixson Pike with visitation beginning at 1 p.m.Visit www.lanefh.com to share condolences.
