PALMER Fannie Clair Layne, 93, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.She was born Nov. 10, 1919 to Isier and Frances Malinda Bowman Layne who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Albert "Alb" Layne and Gilliam Layne; sisters, Vernie Shrum, Alice McDaniel, Lillie Doss, Ethel Adams and Rosie Doss; daughter, Opal Layne.She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.Graveside funeral services will be 4 p.m. today in Griffiths Creek Cemetery.Arrangements by Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tenn.
