ROSSVILLE Jesse C. Williams, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.Mr. Williams was born and raised in Richfield, N.C., and moved to Chattanooga in 1971. He retired from UA Local #421 Pipe Fitters Union, was a 32nd-degree Mason, member of the Lookout Valley Masonic Lodge #673, the Scottish-Rite, and the Alhambra Shrine Hardhat Unit. He was also a U.S. Marine veteran.He was preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Ann Williams; and his parents, Coleman and Hazel Williams.Surviving are his children, Dee Dee (Greg) Carter, Cheryl (Benny Walker) Williams and David (Terri) Williams; grandchildren, Jessica Carter, Tiffany Swafford, Stephen Carter, Taylor Williams, Andrea Linder and Sarah Williams; and sister, Jeanette (Bud) Goodman.Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
